TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All patients are required to provide contact details; including address, telephone number and email in order to secure and appointement.
  • All patients will complete a Medical History Form at their first appointment, this is necessary to inform the consultation and treatment planning process.
  • All information will be treated as confidential and protected in accordance with Data Protection legislation. 
  • Patients information will not be shared with third parties without written permissions and you will not receive unsolicited information from us.
  • You may choose to remove yourself from any mailing list at anytime by informing us or unsubscribing.


Sknject offers medical treatments and services delivered by Krystal Cousins, a Registered Nurse with specialised qualifications. She is fully insured, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and an Independent Nurse Prescriber.

NEW PATIENTS - VIDEO AND TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS

Whilst telephone consultations are discouraged, we acknowledge some circumstances when this service may be helpful; particularly for our patients who will be travelling long distance. New patients, seeking advice in a telephone discussion require a diary appointment of 30 mins. Patients must call the clinic / log onto the video call at the agreed time. 

A charge of £25.00 is made, payable in advance and a reminded will be sent to you prior to your appointment.


APPOINTMENTS

  • We will be sent appointment reminders before your appointment in the day(s) leading up to your appointment. These reminders are visible to the clinic to ensure we can monitor our contact with patients.
  • Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment so that we can make best use of the appointment diary.
  • As the clinic is busy and appointments are usually limited, we take a deposit to mitigate missed appointments. This deposit is none refundable but will be deducted from your treatments at check out.
  • Please do NOT attend clinic for an appointment if you are unwell. If your are unsure, please call and we can discuss your situation. Many treatments are contraindicated if you are unwell; this includes colds, cold sores or local skin infections.
  • Routine review appointments are offered after treatment with Botulinum Toxin as a courtesy. No additional treatment or ‘top up’ is provided free of charge once the review period of 1-2 weeks has passed. It is your responsibly to ensure this appointment is arranged within the specific time frame. Please ensure you cancel any review / top up if you are happy with your treatment and you no longer need it so that we can offer the time slot to other patients.
  • New patients are seen for consultation and assessment; except in circumstances with prior arrangement. We do NOT offer treatments on the first visit.
  • Treatments which require a patch test will not be performed until this test is complete (In the case of brow/lash treatments). You have the option to sign a disclaimer if you choose not to have the patch test to ensure the clinic is not liable for any reaction which may occur as a result of this.

CHILDREN

We do NOT treat children or young adults under the age of of 18, except under the supervision of a parent or guardian who is to attend the appointment with the patients. these appointments include beauty treatments such as lashes/brows, facials appropriate for teenage skin and skincare consultations. We do NOT offer any injectable treatments to under 18‘s and we may ask for identification to be provided in some instances. 



 Treatments


There is currently no cost for consultations so please show courtesy and let us know if you cannot attend as we can off this appointment to someone else.


PRESCRIPTION TREATMENTS

A £50 deposit is required for all treatments involving prescription-only medications. This deposit is non-refundable, as the product is ordered specifically for you and cannot be used for another patient.

If you cancel, reschedule, or do not attend your appointment, the full deposit will be forfeited. 

A new deposit of £25 will be required to rebook, with the remaining balance payable at your new appointment.

Please note: A face-to-face consultation is mandatory for all prescription treatments, including repeat treatments for existing patients.


NON-PRESCRIPTION TREATMENTS

If you need to cancel or reschedule a non-prescription treatment, we kindly request a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. 

Cancellations or changes made with less than 72 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.

OUR COSTS EXPLAINED

Fees charged for treatment are for the delivery of your chosen treatment and the accompanying service, which is inclusive of;


  • Consultation and assessment
  • Provision of information and advice
  • Education and knowledge of a medical professional and Independent Nurse Prescriber accountable to governing bodies.
  • Safe treatment with evidence based products
  • Follow up appointments and aftercare advice and support as appropriate.

Whilst we undertake to provide excellent service; factual, honest and ethical advice, safe, expert treatment in experienced hands and only the best products, we cannot guarantee your results and cannot offer refunds if the results achieved fail to meet your expectations. 


RETAIL PRODUCTS

Any products purchased from clinic are non-returnable and non-refundable.


CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that plans can change, but out of respect for our practitioners and other clients, we kindly ask that you adhere to our cancellation policy.


Within 24 Hours of Your Appointment

  • If you cancel, reschedule, or do not attend your appointment within 24 hours, 100% of the treatment cost will be charged.
  • A new deposit will be required to rebook.
    (This applies to all treatments, including those requiring prescription items.)

Within 24–48 Hours of Your Appointment

  • If you cancel or reschedule within this window, 50% of the treatment cost will be charged.
  • You will also need to pay a new deposit.
    (Including prescription-based treatments.)

Within 48–72 Hours of Your Appointment

  • Cancellations or reschedules made during this period will result in the loss of your deposit.
  • A new deposit will be required to rebook, and the remaining treatment cost will be payable at your next appointment.
    (Including prescription-based treatments.)


Important Note:

All deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a new date or time if changes are made more than 72 hours in advance.


PAYMENTS

  • All treatments must be paid in full at the time of your appointment.
  • For treatment courses, full payment is due at the first appointment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance. 
  • Memberships run over 12 months and come with their own additional Terms and Conditions - see memberships for more info


TREATMENT COURSES

If you have a treatment plan with several treatments included with recommended timescales to complete the treatment plan for optimal results, it is your responsibility to ensure this treatment plan is adhered to.


Most treatment plans are 3-6 months long depending on which you select therefore you have this timeframe to complete your course. 


We do allow a 2 month grace period to account for illness, unexpected events and/or holidays, but after this you will loose any outstanding treatments.


The course runs from your first treatment date. 


The clinic will does NOT offer refunds for treatment plans and your will lose your treatments if they are not taken within the set time frame specific to your treatment duration recommendation and it is your responsibility to ensure your appointments are booked.


Following your consultation, and having been assessed as suitable for the requested treatment(s), your personalised treatment plan will proceed as agreed. 


All procedures are carried out using professional clinical judgment to ensure the most effective and natural results possible.


Please be aware that every treatment is tailored to the individual, and results may vary. While we strive for optimal outcomes, no specific result can be guaranteed.


The clinic reserves the right to decline treatment if it is deemed to be not in your best interest, may result in unnatural outcomes, or could pose a risk to your physical or mental wellbeing.


As with all medical treatments, there are potential risks and side effects. At Sknject, your safety and wellbeing are our top priorities.

You will be fully informed of any associated risks during your consultation and again at the time of treatment.

Please note: We like to use patient images for educational purposes, events, in clinic at consultations, social media and other marketing materials. If you would like to opt out of this then please let us know.

COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint please advise us as soon as possible. An appointment will be made for you to be seen. A copy of our Complaints Policy is available on request. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, we will undertake to refer you to an Independent, approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Service and agree to co-operate and comply

FEEDBACK

Any feedback is much appreciated, both positive and negative. Feedback is used to review and improve quality of service. You may submit feedback verbally, via email, via the clinic website via the Save Face website.

You will also be given the opportunity to rate your service via the automated message you will received after your visit to clinic.

During your first consultation, Nurse Krystal will assess your needs, listen to your concerns and goals, and develop a personalised treatment plan designed specifically for you. There’s no obligation to proceed immediately it is always encouraged you to take your time to consider your options before making any commitment.


Sknject offers its own dedicated parking facilities. If these are full, ample parking is available just outside the clinic for your convenience.


As a private clinic, all visits must be booked in advance unless prior arrangements have been made for order collections. Please note, we do not offer a drop-in service.


At present, Sknject does not offer formal finance plans. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment, with the remaining balance payable on the day of your treatment.


We do offer Memberships which include several treatments for you to take over a 12 month period. If you are wanting to spread costs on an individual basis then please let us know at consultation as this may be an option.


To maintain a calm, safe, and professional clinical environment, Sknject does not permit children to accompany patients into the clinic. This policy helps ensure a relaxing and focused atmosphere during your treatment.


We encourage you to take this time as a chance to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved ‘me time’ — a moment just for you to relax and recharge.
